Welcome to my page, https://anthonydfeldman.wordpress.com/. I am a Masters student in Geology at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology specializing in Geomorphology and the use of soils to analyze landscape development. My undergraduate experience was in geology and mathematics at the University of Miami (FL). I have experience working in the environmental consulting industry primarily as a GIS specialist with experience in water sampling, environmental compliance, and permitting.

While my training is in geomorphology and soil analysis, I have broad interests in the earth sciences, with experience in GIS applications, field data collection, and laboratory analysis. I have extensive experience operating scanning electron microscopes in a research setting as well as experience in the operation of X-Ray Diffractometers.  I have experience developing scripts and using a variety of software packages to solve earth science problems including ArcMap, MATLAB, MODFLOW, Java, and Google Earth. Both my undergraduate and graduate courses have given me the unique opportunity to see world-class geology up-close in the field throughout a broad swath of the globe, including Iceland, Greenland, Southern Florida, West Texas, the Canadian Shield, and throughout New Mexico.
